Brasshatch is a community-driven platform where verified military service members can share honest reviews and opinions about military occupational specialties (MOS), ratings, AFSCs, and other military career fields. We provide the platform and tools; the content is created by our users.
You must be at least 17 years of age to use Brasshatch. To submit a review, you must verify your military service status through our verification process. By submitting a review, you represent that you are or were a member of the U.S. uniformed services and that your review reflects your genuine experience.
Brasshatch hosts reviews, ratings, and opinions submitted by users ("User Content"). You understand and agree that:
All reviews are moderated before publication. We review content for compliance with these Terms, operational security concerns, and general quality. Moderation does not constitute endorsement. We do not verify the factual accuracy of individual claims within reviews — they represent the personal opinions and experiences of the authors.
Brasshatch is a provider of an "interactive computer service" as defined under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230). User-generated reviews, ratings, and opinions published on this Platform are created by third-party users, not by Brasshatch.
Under Section 230(c)(1), Brasshatch shall not be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by users of the Platform. The views, opinions, and experiences expressed in user reviews do not represent the views of Brasshatch, its owners, or its operators.
Under Section 230(c)(2), Brasshatch may in good faith restrict access to or availability of material that it considers to be obscene, lewd, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable, whether or not such material is constitutionally protected. Such moderation activity shall not be construed as making Brasshatch the publisher of third-party content.
Brasshatch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, any branch of the U.S. military, or any government agency. References to military branches, MOS codes, ratings, AFSCs, and other military terminology are used for descriptive and informational purposes only. All trademarks and service marks related to the U.S. military are the property of their respective owners.
The Platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Military career fields, duty stations, leadership, and experiences vary widely. Reviews represent individual experiences and should not be the sole basis for any career decision.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brasshatch and its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or reliance on any content posted by users.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Brasshatch and its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

The Brasshatch name, logo, design, and original site content (excluding User Content) are the property of Brasshatch. You may not use our branding, design elements, or original content without prior written permission.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content and to restrict or terminate access to the Platform for any user who violates these Terms, at our sole discretion and without notice.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the courts of the State of North Carolina.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
